What CUMOND stands for
One name, one build standard. CUMOND is the cleaning-equipment brand of Changsha Cumond Machinery Co., Ltd. — a manufacturer in China, building high‑pressure, high‑temperature and steam cleaning machines since 2016.
The brand began with a problem we kept meeting in the field: most cleaning machines on the market are built for a catalogue, not for the job in front of the operator. CUMOND was founded in 2016 to build the other kind — specified around the surface being cleaned, the soiling on it and the power available on site.
That idea shapes the whole business. We design in house and build in house, and the range grows from what customers ask for rather than from a fixed price list: cold water, hot water and steam, driven by electric motor, diesel engine or petrol engine.
Today our machines work in workshops, processing plants, transport fleets and property maintenance — in China and in export markets. They all carry the same mark and the same build standard, whatever the destination.
We would rather build the machine the job needs than sell the machine we happen to stock.
