QUALITY POLICY
What we mean by quality
CUMOND builds cleaning machines, systems and accessories — standard, specialised and custom. This page is the commitment behind that work: what we promise, and the seven things we do to keep the promise.
A wide variety of standard, specialised and custom items are supplied, and our knowledge and expertise go into the problems customers actually meet. As well as being a supplier of choice for capital projects and replacement parts for existing plant, CUMOND develops innovative products for industries still working with traditional methods — and tests and extends the range in real working conditions, not only on paper.
CUMOND is committed to managing the quality of its service so that customer requirements are met every time, and exceeded wherever we can.
Quality is not a final inspection. It is how the job is planned, documented and checked — before the first part is cut.
HOW WE KEEP IT
Seven commitments
01
Understand the requirement first. Every client requirement is understood and met, through planning and documentation of the work before it starts.
02
Stay inside the standard. Ongoing compliance with the legislation, standards, specifications and codes of practice that apply to our products.
03
Measure it. Quality objectives are set with numbers, then reviewed to see whether the system is actually working.
04
Invest in the people. A workplace that is rewarding and technically demanding, and that supports the professional ambitions of our employees.
05
Close every non-conformance. Problems are identified, reported, investigated and resolved — and action is taken so the same fault does not come back.
06
Improve the range. Processes and the product range are developed, reviewed and improved continuously.
07
Watch the whole business. Every area of the company is monitored and improved, to meet or exceed the expectations of clients, authorities and the community around us.
